"careful of the sugar/black ants, unavoidable but definitely no open food in the room and will be fine, they don't bite at least. other than that it was great. nice and quiet and a good escape from the city for a while. island hopping was reasonably priced and shorter boat ride away compared to other resorts. diving courses and tours offered for both novice and experienced divers which are excellent."

"The wreck dives are great but my family didn’t like it as much. The diving team Tom, Iko and Shay are all great. They are very knowledgeable and personable. Service at the resort is impeccable. MJ, Naomi, Steph are great. They always accommodate our dietary restrictions at breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. The bar tenders are also great. It is a full bar but don’t expect to get high quality spirits. We had a villa on the beach with Air Conditioning. The A/C helps if you are in bed just below...

"Although the resort needs a little R&R, we enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet area, not a lot of noise like the town. The staff was wonderful! Housekeeping is very fast when you need extra towels, coffee, etc! Restaurant food was amazing. Could use more choices for breakfast buffet. We booked our excursion through the hotel and the staff made it very easy. My wife and I got magnificent massages. Easy to obtain a trip-cycle for a trip to town. We will definitely stay here again. "

"Beautiful hotel with so much attention to detail. The first room we were put in was not very nice but we were able to move. Rooms are clean. Pool is nice but would be good to have more than four sun loungers. Great location for Coron. Shuttle bus to airport cost 250 pesos each but bit annoying that we were told 10 am pick up & then had to wait on the bus for 30 mins for some guests from another hotel."

"We were very pleased with our stay at Nomad Yurts. They were accommodating even prior to our arrival. The story: we had only booked one night, but were taking a red eye to arrive at 7:30 in the morning. We asked to add on a second night so we could go right to a room when we arrived. They were very responsive and flexible with making this happen. When we showed up they led us straight to a room. The accommodations were very cute and comfortable. I was impressed with the a/c and the warm water...
