"The Sama Sama Hotel has two Airport hotels - the one within the International airport is the smaller Sama Sama Express.
The main Sama Sama Hotel is just out of the airport building but guests are taken both ways in a golf buggy in under cover walkways and it takes about 2 to 3 minutes max. This is the hotel I am commenting on.
The Hotel is very luxurious in every respect unlike most airports we have stayed in around the world .
The guest rooms are large and have every convenience plus very comfortable beds - the restaurants and bars are first class - the outdoor pool and garden are resort style .
I always stay at Sama Sama on the way to UK and Europe as Malaysian Airlines have great departure times from Australia to KL then non stop KL to Heathrow flights .
I stick by my comment it is “ The best Airport Hotel in the World “ ."
"Nice hotel not far from the airport. Only drawback is a late arrive means paying for a taxi as the free shuttle bus stops running after 8pm. Otherwise a fairly well appointed room which looks quite modern and comfortable bed."
"The rooms were beautiful and well kept. The staff was very friendly. The views of the ocean were incredible. The evening dining experience was a bit crowded and the food was much more Asian style with not a lot of options, but otherwise it was a nice place to stay."
Sama-Sama Express KLIA Terminal 1 - Airside Transit Hotel

"Was just a perfect 12 hour rest between flights .. bed was lovely comfy, black out curtains and silent had a great sleep.. shower and toiletries was awesome much better than paying just for a lounge with shower access"
