"The room was very clean, however, the hotel was under construction. All three floors had construction going on, even in the hallways. Carpet was being laid, and I found numerous wood screws lying on the hallway, and one screw in the room. If I had stepped on one, it would have gone through the sole of my sneaker. "I didn't really care that there was no 1st floor availability, and there was no elevator for handicapped. Only stairwells, other than that. Everything was okay."

"We came home in the afternoon and found our door open! A carpet mechanic was laying new carpet by our room and had the door to our room open to get carpet under the door.. Nothing was wrong inside but the loss of privacy was unsettling. We have stayed here before and liked the amenities and location . We should have been given a room far from the immediate work."

"We stayed at 500 on our wedding night. We did not arrive until after 10:00 pm. When we arrived in our room, there was a bootle of champagne on ice and a basket of goodies waiting for us, along with a personal note from the staff. Our in room brunch the next morning was fantastic. Even though we were only there for one night everything was perfect. Thank you to the entire team at the 500."

We had two rooms and neither party was happy. Complaints were that the elevators take FOREVER- I think we waited close to 5 minutes one of the times.
