"Our first room had an air conditioner unit that didn't work. We went back to the front desk and the staff was very helpful in getting us a better room."

"This is a lovely waterfront property. Although our room was small we had a large house to explore. There were many seating areas, both inside and out. The private beach was lovely, although it was un groomed . We had some confusion with the door entry locks; we were sent a code for doors that didn’t work but the on site supervisor , Cyndi, sorted it out for us. The continental breakfast was adequate. "We went for the pool, and it appeared everyone else did too. We stayed on a Thursday night and the pool was so crowded. At 5pm / 7pm and 9pm the pool remained quite busy. The next morning at 8:30 the pool was already quite full too. The kids still enjoyed it but just be prepared for a crowd."

"This was our second time staying at the Colonial Hotel and it just keeps getting better. You can’t beat the location and with the addition of the outdoor pool and food/bar service the amenities are exceptional. Our suite was spectacular. Big, clean and comfortable. This won’t be our last stay here! We will be back…and probably sooner than later."

"Staff was friendly during check-in and check-out, very quick, too. The room was large and clean. Beds were queen sized. There was a microwave and a refrigerator. Air conditioning worked well. Bathroom was updated. Shampoo and soap, and hair dryer were provided. Location was excellent, on the road out of town, and 5 minutes from downtown. The one improvement I would like to see is a coffee maker in the room."

"We were in Stratford to see a show. We arrived early and were allowed to park prior to checking in. After our show we met Bruce, the owner and he kindly showed us our room and explained some of the amenities the inn had to offer.
