"The staff was impeccable. The room was beautiful: clean, spacious, well stocked with everything needed (just like a home). The only complaint I would make is that there was a lighting issue. The lights from various units were somehow connected together. Practically this meant if the person next door turned their lights/fan on/off it would also turn my lights on/off.

"It grows on you. Great location if you want to experience east 6th. Rocking pool with happy hour. Nice restaurant with rooftop bar. Eclectic decor and gift shop. Overall, very fun. Was not disappointed, but half the hotel has hostel style private rooms with shared bath. Gated parking, secure entry. Interesting shops, nice walk to east Austin neighborhoods. Close to downtown and capital of Texas. Friendly staff. Room was clean. Shower shoes provided with robes."

"We got in late because of a flat tire, you know life… the guy at the front seat was so nice and got us into our rooms and we had the best night sleep ever, the breakfast was good and hot! The waffle were amazing! 10/10 would recommend, we will be returning , thank you forthe friendly service!"

"We felt like the hotel was pretty lackluster. The downstairs area was decorated and maintained well--the same can't be said for the guest rooms. The decor was quite dated and the Italian influence was heavy-handed. The bed and bedding were adequate, but not very comfortable. The strangest aspect was the louvered doors in the bathroom. It essentially left you no privacy if you were sharing the room.
I feel like the hotel was aiming for an elegant and upscale feel that they did not attain."

"The first room we were given smelled like mold and mildew and the AC unit was covered in mold. Our second room had mold on the windows and in the bathroom shower. If you have a sensitivity to allergens I would not recommend staying at this property. The hallways smelled like cigarettes and mildew. The property is not as well maintained as it was the first time we visited a few years ago, so our expectations were not met. The front desk agents were helpful but not professional."
