"Room hadn’t been cleaned properly as we found clothes from previous travellers beside bed as well as dirty tissue beside bed and towel was smeared with excrement. The lift was being maintained which is fine but our room was right next to the construction meeting point it seemed and the noise was terrible. Couldn’t sit out on balcony at all. Disappointed with stay to say the least"

"We had a lovely time at Sunlit apartments. Host was so accommodating. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It's close to town and has the most amazing view. Would definitely recommend and stay here when I come again."

"Great for backpackers and people that don't mind a bit of noise coming from the hotel in the evenings / early night. We booked the self contained cabin thinking it may have been the quietest on site but there were probably other ensuit cabins more towards the back that would have been quieter."

"The staffs were very nice, friendly, welcoming and helpful. My room was dirty with lots of insects, the toilet was dirty. Breakfast with no eggs and ham. 12-15 minutes walk to town. "

"Location is fantastic, it was across the road from the venue of the event we were attending. The receptionist was lovely. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. Our only issue was parking space is limited."

"Nice place to stay. Don’t think it’s as flash as the photos make it out to be but got the tropical vibe going, bar service which is great being next to the pool. And clean modern rooms. "

"We had a great 3-night family stay at Whitsunday Terraces in Airlie Beach. The location is excellent—close to everything—and the views are absolutely stunning, which really made the trip special. That said, the kitchen and bathroom are quite dated and in need of an upgrade. The most frustrating part was the lack of WiFi in the rooms, which was a real inconvenience during our stay. Overall, a very enjoyable stay thanks to the location and views, but a few updates would make a big difference."

"The buffet was amazing with all the variety of dishes. The bungalow was spacious and in a great location however we were awoken numerous times at night by some Bush Stone-curlews screaming! I was not familiar with these birds that sound like a woman screaming until I heard them. Outside our bungalow we had a nice view of some wallabies and birds. I can’t wait to return to Hamilton Island however I would plan to stay in the Reef hotel where hopefully it would be a bit quieter from the...

"Perfekter Meerblick, gute Klimaanlage und unvergessliches Erlebnis mit den Kakadus am Balkon sowie den Wallabies auf der Wiese vor dem Hotel. Was uns etwas gestört hat waren die unbequemen Liegen am Pool. Es gab keine weichen Auflagen und nur mit Handtuch konnte man nicht lange bequem dort sitzen oder liegen. "
