"This hotel is in a very beautiful area. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountains and the room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The breakfast buffet was great and included in our stay. There was only one restaurant on site and you pretty much had to get everything from the restaurant such as any snacks, wine, etc. That would be my only knock on the hotel. It would have been nice to have a little market nearby on the property or at least a vending machine....

"Excellent accommodation, would definitely recommend it to all my friends travelling to this area. 10mins walk to train/bus. 6mins walk to the nearest supermarket. Much affordable option compared to staying in Hallstatt. It’s only 11 mins by train (plus the 10mins walk to train station) Excellent facilities in the apartment - got everything you need. "We stayed at the Tiny House, which was not only super cute but also very comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect weekend. The place is amazing — nestled in the mountains and close to the lake, it felt like being in a fairy tale. The kitchen is fully equipped, so we could cook easily — they even provide herbs, oil, and salt. I would definitely come back to Chalet am Sonnenhang without a doubt!"

"This is my 2nd time staying here. The first time was 2019. Overall, it is easy check in instructions, took bus from Hallstatt city with bus number 543 is easy. The balcony with lake view is perfect. Just that the room doesn't have washroom inside but there are shower room. Kind of weird but it's ok. The room is clean and the view is excellent. The reception man & women is friendly as she help me to take some photos coz I travel alone. The environment is good, can have a chill walk in the evening and it is not too noisy compared to Hallstatt city which I like this place. Just one disappointment that the hotel unable to issue me the tourist public transportation pass. He said he can only do it if I stay 3 nights, which I feel a bit unfair. Thus, I need to take bus which cost €2.80 each way to go Hallstatt city."
