We went on a family vacation (party of 9) and reserved 3 different rooms. Upon arriving and going to our rooms we discovered the rooms were not going to accommodate all guests. Each room had a single bed for a party of 3 or 4. To make a long story short the resort had to assign us all 3 different rooms, took over 4 hours to finally get a room and keys. They either had us waiting for a room, keys or a shuttle to take us to another room. We literally packed and unpacked 4 different times in a span of 4 -5 hours. The rooms were either too small for all in our party; the other room had a leak over the bathroom toilet from the upstairs unit. Water landing on our head as we used the restroom; when issued a third set of keys we walked into a room that was occupied by another family who was in the middle of dinner when we unlocked the door and walked in on them.
If being assigned 4 different rooms was not enough, rooms with issues to make matters worse reception staff were beyond rude, disrespectful, and discourteous to us. Indicating they did not have to accommodate us and we should be thankful. When asked to speak to a manager Alan indicated he was the manager, then said none available and then threatened to “kick” us out. Told us be thankful for the room we had. They did not care we lost 5-6 hours trying to get an acceptable room for our vacation. Worst experience ever! Words can not describe our disappointment.
