"Good kitchen staff but the room’s toilet was smelly. I vomited twice every time i went to the toilet, on the first night itself. The pungent smell was really strong. I called reception at 3 am wanted to change room but no one picked up. The next morning, i had to buy electric scented oil warmer to reduce the pungent smell. "

"I had an amazing stay here during my five-week Oceania trip. My first night was unexpected—I needed an ambulance to the local hospital after a fall on the ferry—but the staff at Bay Vista were incredibly attentive throughout the whole ordeal. They checked on me during the ambulance visit and followed up the next day to make sure I was doing okay (four sutures along my hairline). "The staff were incredibly helpful. One of them, in Picton before we got on the ferry, told us how to see the bioluminescence, which was fantastic. The young man who took us around to feed the animals and the marine biologist who told us about the marine life on the viewing platform were incredibly knowledgable. The room was pretty and we had a good view if we sat outside. We also loved the hammocks and the glow worms."
