A Perfect Location

Amazing Views

Secluded property in a residential area but just 5 mins from Picton town center. Fantastic views of the Bay from living room. Staff is very welcoming and courteous.

Just a short drive into town, this place is really quiet and pretty. There is a pub on the waterfront within a 20min walk that is open all day. A lovely peaceful location.

The room was excellent, nice size. Views are excellent and bathroom had hot shower with good pressure. The host Rachel was lovely and went above and beyond to be helpful. Really recommend this spot!

Wonderful place! Super clean & comfy with all the amenities you could want. Gorgeous view & extremely helpful staff. Did laundry on site & got takeout food from nearby so we could eat on the outdoor porch with great views. Even better than the pics online. Highly recommend!!

Fabulous view over the bay and to the mountains beyond. Quiet location a 5 min drive from Picton centre. Our room (no.3) was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Rachel and her staff are great - we were given a warm welcome on arrival and they were helpful throughout our stay.

Stunning wee motel, clean tidy and beautiful view. We were greeting by a lovely bubbly host and advised on where a good local spot was for dinner. Room was warm with a heater already turned on for our arrival.

Stunningly beautiful veiw from the room. If you love sailboats in the harbor and ducks on your lawn you will love this place. Amazing value for a little piece of Paradise. We will stay a week next time.

I had an amazing stay here during my five-week Oceania trip. My first night was unexpected—I needed an ambulance to the local hospital after a fall on the ferry—but the staff at Bay Vista were incredibly attentive throughout the whole ordeal. They checked on me during the ambulance visit and followed up the next day to make sure I was doing okay (four sutures along my hairline). A special shout-out to Maddie, who was exceptionally caring and checked on me several times. The location is absolutely beautiful, and it has definitely set the bar high for future stays along the southern New Zealand coast. Thank you to the entire team for your kindness and support during a very stressful moment. You all truly rock!

The property setting is incredible! Really hard to beat. Individual patios lead to waterfront where boats are moored. Hills beyond with easily reachable moderate hike of Snout's Track. Park at the Snout's Track Carpark and walk 40 mins to Queen Charlotte View. Modern rooms. Laundry very convenient. Owner Rachel is very helpful and upbeat! Town less than 5 mins drive.
