Beautiful cottage, but beware of the incorrect parking information advertised on the Hotels.com listing. Sea Pinks is a lovely little cottage in an excellent location, close to Looe’s beach, restaurants and shops. It was well equipped and had everything we needed for a few days. The stairs are very steep and narrow, as other reviewers have mentioned. Our main issue was that Hotels.com advertised the property as having a free parking, which was one of the reasons we chose it. However, the check-in instructions from Sykes Cottages told us to unload nearby and then use a public car park. We ended up parking at Mill Pool, just over half a mile away, at an additional cost of around £26 for a weekly ticket. We contacted Sykes Cottages by message, phone and email to ask about the advertised free parking but received no response. The listing also stated that the cottage was adjacent to a golf course, which did not appear to be the case. A really lovely cottage that I would otherwise happily recommend, but unfortunately let down by misleading information in the listing and very poor communication from the management company.
