Quality Inn Oceanfront

"Older hotel. Would be gorgeous w/ some remodeling. We paid more for a room with kitchen. However, no table to eat at. Room was big, tv was on the smaller side. Outdated bathroom. Toilet was perfect for children but way too small for adults. Bring your own coffee maker. They only have a single serve w/ pods. Coffee is available on the first floor. Not brewed, but pretty good. Gorgeous beach view from our room. Elevator available. Here’s where I have issues…Anyone could & do walk onto the grounds & enter the pool. No security whatsoever. Teens were everywhere. Entered from the street. Same for the lobby..Kids coming in, using the indoor pool & walking out to the beach. We saw them daily doing this. The restaurant is small. Food was good & you can take to your room. Big birds in cages were cool. Loud at times. We would stay again since the price was reasonable. Parking was tricky & definitely needs more lighting. They basically need a security booth to enter the grounds. Would feel a lot after."

"A basic hotel with everything you would need for a short stay. It was clean and everything in the room worked perfectly. There was a refrigerator and a microwave and coffee maker. Bed was comfortable. Great checkout time of 12 noon. 5 minutes from Rehoboth Beach. Definitely would go back there."

"Very quaint location, could use more sand less grass behind the hotel but otherwise beautiful, they had a cute little sand area with hammock swings, but it would’ve been nice to have sand in front of the water for children to play otherwise very nice kitchenette and bathroom size. We ate at the lighthouse, but they were out of most of the fish, which is why we like to come to the beaches for fresh fish, but that is not the hotels fault. I did like that they had parking available for us on site. Was not expecting to see the horseshoe crabs, which I thought could be poisonous until I googled them, but they were like pets and kept coming to the shore when people came by, but didn’t know what they were at first."

"The morning staff older gentleman was not pleasant, or helpful. He never spoke and we stayed here for four nights. Also, when we arrived, we waited thirty minutes at the front desk for assistance. The employee stated he was the only one working so he kept getting called. We were tired from the drive and had two dogs with us. They need to have the front desk covered when guests are checking in."
