Clearly a brand new property, the Tribe was a lovely place to stay in Canary Wharf, on the quiet edge of a bustling commercial and business center. My single room was small but clean and efficient, not much of a view but that's not what I was there for. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, though a few amenities were lacking like 24-hour convenience shop and on-site guest laundry.
The biggest issue with staying in Canary Wharf generally is the distance from Central London. Though the Jubilee and Elizabeth lines are very nearby, I was traveling with someone with limited mobility and it was impossible to get a black cab; and most of the Ubers we had to order were some distance away and often had difficulty finding the brand-new hotel given the strange traffic patterns and construction closures found at the Wharf. Just be aware of the location as you plan your trip.
