I stayed here for one night with my dad ready for the guns and roses concert at Wembley Stadium! We were in a spacious twin room that was very clean, and had comfortable beds! My only gripe with the room was the squeaky floor boards that were present everywhere you walked within the room, as well as in the hallway leading to the room, although this was a little on the annoying side, it was completely liveable for the one night!
The staff were wonderful, very pleasant on arrival, and quick to serve us behind the bar. The only let down was that we were expecting to have dinner at the pub as per the menu on their website, however, they were not serving food on this day! Despite this initial let down, they had a gourmet burger van in the pub garden that we ended up reluctantly ordering from. I will say, we were wrong to negatively judge this, we were pleasantly surprised, the food we ordered was absolutely yummy, and not too badly priced either, my dad had a beef burger with onion relish, and I had a bourbon chicken burger with chilli jam, we were advised all of the ingredients were locally sourced, and scrumptious!
Overall this is a lovely establishment for the one night stay we had, it is set back from the main road, has a spacious car park, huge beer garden with half covered so plenty of space for those to enjoy the sun, as well as those who preferred the shade! The staff were wonderful, extremely polite, and nothing was too much trouble! We would absolutely stay here again!
