Super nice hotel just steps to the London Bridge train and underground. 8 minutes walk to Tower Bridge. Brilliant location. Staff are all Amazing people, friendly and helpful. In room kitchen is very nice with a good size fridge, stove top ,oven, toaster, and kettle . Dishes are of good quality . We made most of our meals at home. Shower and private bathroom are also very clean and of top quality. The washer/dryer is a bit of a let down. It is very small , very noisy and takes 4 1/2 hours to wash and dry a small load of laundry. Dont start a load of washing before bed as it is right beside the bed and makes a big racket and will keep you up half the night.
The big problem was the air conditioning did not work at all! Humid and 25c for 10 nights in a row. Staff came to the room 3 or 4 times and did genuinely want to help. It would run for 30 minutes and shut off. The temperature did not change. Our Salisbury hotel room a/c cooled the room by 4 degrees in 20 minutes.
Walked 15 to 20 kms per day , so at 60 years of age, we needed our rest but this problem really impacted our sleep and overall enjoyment for our trip. Regret
