"Recently refurbished, rooms were clean and fresh and kept the original features of the property. Bathroom was lovely and bath a great size although did miss the option of grabbing a quick shower. Bathroom needs a blind or curtain please otherwise stunning room."

"What a find this place was. We needed somewhere to stay and shelter from Storm Dave rather than risk the campervan.
We were lucky enough to find the family room at the String of Horses. Amazing food in the pub, amazing and super friendly staff, especially the lady who sorted out brownie pieces for my ten year old rather than the Sundae dessert version.
The breakfast in the morning, ordered from a menu rather than buffet was delicious with great options.
