Shared coed toilets and showers were pretty unpleasant, broken toilet seats etc. I've given a pretty low rating because i did not feel safe here as a solo female. "The view was just beautiful of the harbor. The room was clean and very comfortable. Nicely furnished, interesting artwork. It’s above a cafe, so convenient for morning coffee. Easy walk up from the ferry terminal and close to a lovely little park. Walking distance to shops and dining. Would certainly recommend and would book again. "

"Good kitchen staff but the room’s toilet was smelly. I vomited twice every time i went to the toilet, on the first night itself. The pungent smell was really strong. I called reception at 3 am wanted to change room but no one picked up. The next morning, i had to buy electric scented oil warmer to reduce the pungent smell. "

"The room was clean, sizeable and the jetted spa bath absolutely superb. But that’s where it ends. We stayed in what was called the “modern” suite, a kitsch and garishly designed suite that was a far cry from “modern” in today’s standards. Where it really fell short was the experience and service. "The room we were in, James Cook, was wonderful. Clean, well equipped, comfortable, with a lovely deck. It was also great to have breakfast provided each day. Steffan and Michelle are fantastic hosts. Warm, proactive, helpful, and fun. I highly, highly recommend this place."
