"This is a fabulous hostel with excellent self-catering facilities, and an amazing location - ideal for those walking the west highland way in particular. The one single negative is that the ladders on the bunk beds have very narrow steps which makes it quite painful on bare feet to climb up and down."

"Fabulous accommodation. Just 3 rooms let by Lucy and James, who own the local brewery also. Great breakfast cooked to order and rooms are well decorated. Lcuy sells her art at the house if you are interested in Scottish landscapes in watercolour, and some oil. Very quiet, blackout curtains, comfy medium mattress and good pillow selection. Highly recommend and would stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Ashburn guest house. The property was clean and bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower pressure was really good, nice for a shower after a long hike! Walking distance to town with nice view too. Hayley was really friendly and helpful, she packed us a really nice breakfast for our early morning hike on our first morning there, which was thoughtful of her. Only thing that could be improved on would be for the sitting in breakfast, it would be best if hot...
