"The view out the front window of the hotel is beautiful. The food was ok.. not amazing. I ordered the risotto and it was terrible. We ended up walking to a nearby restaurant for drinks and their restaurant was booked and had more options. Jay the manager was super friendly and the room was comfortable and the bathrooms newly renovated and clean."

"Wonderful place to stay. We had 2 rooms adjoining, with a gorgeous view of the water. Hosts were so helpful and friendly, both in answering questions before we even got there, as well as being on hand while we were staying. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the small personal touches (breakfast snacks, water in the fridge, chocolates on the pillows) were wonderful. They were also helpful with booking breakfast for us at the pub just down the street. Highly recommend; would happily stay there...

"We were there in the spring (early June) and the restaurant had very limited hours and you are 20 minutes from town."

"Waterfront location was nice but you are isolated from shopping and other restaurants. The clerk at check-in was cold and pressured us to reserve and prepay for dinner and breakfast. Don’t. While the parking is free, it’s unlikely to be available after 6 pm on weekends. If you leave for dinner good luck finding a space later. We had dinner there one night and it was good but expensive for what you get. Our room was nice but not luxury class and cost $280 a night. Unfortunately the...

Our hostess started us off in the morning with a delightful breakfast, good cup of coffee and good advice or directions to our days activities. She made sure we enjoyed ourselves. "Booked this for my daughter and 2 grand children, last minute as her tent was broken by the adverse weather they was experiencing. They loved the property, they said it was very clean and well equipped and they loved the view of the mountains. Property is very close to a train station but my daughter said they didnt hear any noise from it."
