Cozy inn, delicious meals (venison from the estate, for instance), lots of personality. "We arrived an hour earlier than check in at 3. Slight hitch with finding the 2 rooms I had booked as I thought they were both in my name and I got a bit of a telling off from the receptionist when he discovered it was 2 different names 🙄 That aside, both rooms were available for access at 2pm rather than 3 pm check in time. Spacious room. Very clean and great facilities. It was a very hot day and the small fan unit provided in the room was much appreciated. Nice touch to have water available...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Hotel. Great location central very close to the Jahangir indian restaurant we had booked a meal at. Very clean room, comfy bed, nice shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. A nice trolley was in room with coffe, tea facilities and jelly beans and biscuits.
