"Extremely pleasant and hospitable staff with old timey charm. While not an updated facility, it was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast service was an added perk. I would absolutely recommend it and would stay again should I return to Inverness. "

"The guest house is well located, clean and spacious. We never met anyone involved in running the place, and were surprised when no one answered the door bell when we arrived. In time we discovered an envelope containing our room key, peeking out from under and behind the outside door."

"Hotel situated in a stunning location. Anyone looking to relax can certainly make themselves at home. Relaxed atmosphere and comfortable bed. No tv however they are trying to promote an atmosphere that does not need a tv. Not that there's much on it anyway. Also with free, fast wi-fi you can still use your phone/tablet if you need to watch something etc. Meals very nice, Steak was tasty and Haddock was in a Golden beer batter and was lovely. "Overall, a good room for one night in a very central location. It was very clean and tidy, apart from one area. The blinds were very dusty when I went to close them. Not a big deal to myself, but other guests might be unhappy with this."

"Nice clean pub rooms. Small but secure with refurbed bathrooms. Warm and quite comfortable. A pretty standard double bed but still sleep worthy. Staff were very helpful and happy to assist. No lifts as stated but we were able to leave most of our luggage in the car. Dinner is limited as the cook called in sick but there’s a few budget options nearby. Just avoid the kebabs. Great location to visit the Fyrish monument. Value for money this stay. "
