"We stayed at Townhouse at Brecon for a family trip and had a lovely experience. The building has lots of character, and as it’s an older property, there is a narrow flight of stairs to the rooms, something to be mindful of, especially with luggage. What truly made our stay special was the hospitality. Host were absolutely excellent— warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of and were very accommodating throughout our stay. Beautiful...

"My husband and I had a really lovely stay at the Usk & Railway Inn, from the friendly greeting at check in, the clean, good sized and comfortable room, with a good complimentary tray of tea, coffee and biscuits, and toiletries, to the superb evening meal (a fantastic Sunday roast), we had a wonderful nights sleep. "Booked it same day, the room was on the 4th floor and as it was during the heatwave, was a bit warm, they did provide us with couple of fans that helped. It was a lovely room with a sofa, TV and vanity table. A nice view of trees and sunset. It was clean everywhere. "

"Nice clean large room. The fridge was a big bonus. Excellent shower which was much appreciated after a long day walking. We were led to believe from the hotel.com web site that there is Wifi only in public areas but in fact there was wifi all over the the guest house including the rooms. And it was super fast wifi. I was able watched Netflix on my ipad and all the football matches I wanted to watch. Moyra (the owner), is a lovely friendly lady, as her staff. Breakfast was fabulous,...

"Great location. Quiet area. Good value for money. Ideal size for a couple. Pet friendly. Perfect base for hiking as only a short drive to popular peaks. Parking tricky due to narrow street, limited spaces. Kitchen basically a conservatory, so most of the day time difficult to spent time in due to heat (late June). Would be very cosy in winter, autumn or early spring. "
