Top Brecon Hotel Reviews

Llechwen Hall Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Has a lovely one night stay in the Coach house just across from the hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, we booked a premium twin and it was actually 2 double beds which was great..very comfy too.Only slight negative comment would be that the decor was dated ,needs a freshen up, but it was warm and comfortable. Llechwen hall is a popular wedding venue and even though we stayed on a Sunday it was busy. Saying that we were seen quickly at reception ,no delays checking in.The surrounding gardens and views are beautiful and we enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast. Will definitely return."

"the room 3 although a lovely clean room the window is starting to fall out see photos The Quality of food on such a very Busy evening was fantastic see photos The bar/Restaurant staff Amazing under the 2 big parties and a very busy Restaurant We would like to say a very big thanks to Jo she was outstanding in every way We did have a problem with Reception the lady that checked us in was very condescending and told fibs When we got to the bar we where told the 7.30 reservation was changed to 6.45 I disputed this and was told Reception had informed me of this wich I disputed I went to ask the lady on reception and she informed me she had told me on the phone the night before I asked her did she speak to me and she said "Yes " I informed her my wife had made the Restaurant booking not me This morning when we checked out I told her about the window and also about the conversation last night this time she changed it to she told me that I was told when I Booked in She didn't. Loved the Hotel and staff Even the room was lovely"

Llangoed Hall

10/10 Excellent

"We were delighted to find we were staying in a stately home worthy of Downton Abbey. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Wonderful spaces for the guest with fireplaces and comfortable chairs in beautifully coordinated fabrics, as you'd expect from the previous home of Laura Ashleys family, (although subtley not massively floral). The restaurent was lovely and the food superb. Staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds and views over the Brecon Beacons was lovely, with lots of pubs nearby, and other restaurents in nearby Brecon. Our room had a confortable 4 poster bed and lovely ensuite with a seperate shower and Bath, and a great view. It was one floor up and the stairs were wide and not steep so I managed with my stick. We were able to park right out the front door in the big turning circle. Overall it could not have been better!"

Wellington

10/10 Excellent

"The Hotel is nice if a little bit dated in places. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was nice and good value and it is in a great location for exploring the town and the Brecon Beacons national park. We paid £47 for a Sunday night which was exceptional value. At this price, you can overlook the hotel being a little tired in places."
