"We had a lovely stay it was very clean and everything you needed apart from a gas cooker. Beatrice was lovely and very welcoming the only thing we was a little uncomfortable with was we felt we was living with her as she was next door and her balcony was right next to ours. "First time staying here but in the lead up to our visit, staff were very helpful, answering questions about parking etc. On our first night we were over the kitchen and disturbed by an ongoing banging door. This was mentioned the following morning and we were moved to a much quieter location. Great rooms, well appointed and clean. Special thanks to hotel manager Mike and his wife who went above and beyond to find a colander and screen which was set up on the lawn for us all to experience the eclipse. His playlist was also extremely apt!!! We will definitely be back."

"We had to change rooms to a smaller cheaper room as the one we were given had a shower which wouldn’t turn off and was leaking. Whilst it was good they could move us we were not offered any kind of recompense for us having to move to a smaller cheaper room, after we had paid extra for the one we booked! Even a free drink or breakfast would have been accepted but nothing …. Which was a shame!"
