"Great communication from the owners😊, and we would definitely stay here again, some of the fixtures were a little tired but that didn’t bother us, the room was great, the shower probably one of the most powerful we ever had definitely beats some of the big hotels that we have stayed in. And the breakfast was lovely, the homemade bread was delicious.the bed was very comfy, Everything about this stay was everything we needed. Excellent value for money"

"Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch. Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean. The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons..."

" 11 out of 10! There were four of us--two teens, myself (the mom) and my dad. I had a bit of a time finding reasonable accommodation that would fit us all, but the top floor suite was perfect! With two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a pullout sofa bed, everyone had their own bed (very comfortable beds too!) and space. "Me and my hushad an amazing weekend for our 1st anniversary, food was excellent location was fantastic. Hottub in the forrest was an experience, although the Sauna was a little too small, not much value for money we paid on the twilight package we picked. Next time we would just book the hottub. Peacocks roaming around the grounds feeding out of your hands was something else. I would highly recommend a stay at Ruthin Castle. "

"We had a lovely short stay at The Feathers. The room was lovely, with an amazing bathtub and, best of all, AIR CONDITIONING, which we really appreciated as it was unusually hot during our visit. The room was also very quiet at night - we heard hardly anything from the pub. I recommend the pub itself too, lovely decor and very friendly staff. We would definitely stay there again, and absolutely recommend it to other travellers. "
