"Staff were so lovely, room was a bit faded and well-used. No one answered the phone when I called for room-service breakfast. But great location and the nicest people. The bed was also extremely comfortable."

"Stayed twice this year over night as we were attending shows at the Atkinson. Stayed many times when it was the Ramada but not again until this year and very very pleased that the standards were still as high now. Room was very clean and tidy the bathroom was very clean. Very quiet on both occasions and on this recent occasion the access road to the car park has been rebuilt as the work for the new Marine Leisure Centre has started it’s now directly after the Hotel on the left as you approach from the town centre. Will hopefully stay again next year."

"I stayed just the one night on business. I liked the history and general decor of the hotel - it has a nice, venerable atmosphere. My room was clean but showing its age a bit with loose fitments etc. The bed and pillows were quite hard but tastes vary on this. All fine really"

"This hotel is very similar to the NYX in Holburn London...but at a fraction of the cost! Everything about our stay was outstanding. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were exceptional. We had both breakfast and dinner in the hotel and the food was fabulous...the staff attentive. There was everything in the room that you require. What a view from the bedroom window. Excellent"

"Great location in the Shopping District. Located about a 10min stroll from Lime Street Railway Station. Hotel was modern with clean lines. Our room was huge and fabulously clean. Dream bed. Check in was quick and easy with lovely welcoming staff. The coffee and pastries were a lovely touch for breakfast. Would definitely stay again!"
