Hotels near Little Squannakonk Swamp

"Not sure where to begin on this one. I get it’s a budget motel but, damn, this one is bad. First off, the unit went through a hastily lipstick remodel in all the wrong areas. Tub faucet would not stop running, lamps still had flammable cellophane packaging on them, and the tiles in the bathroom floor are loose. The tub only offered cold water and you can inspect orange water to spew out of its faucet for the first few minutes. Next is the noise, there was an rv that was parked at the dead end drive outside the hotel that would run their generator constantly throughout the night. Based on the amount of plastic furniture and grill, they live here. Next was the fact that the walls are paper thin and the ceiling (first floor unit) was suspended and I assume no insulation. We were kept up all night by someone who paced back and forth apparently with their shoes on. When they stopped, the caged dogs in the room next to us would take their place by barking. The dogs would finally stop when their owners came late night early morning which was identified by the slamming of the door repeatedly. The icing on the cake, when we would try to report any of this, we would get hung up on by the front desk."

"I booked a double queen and when I checked in I was told I got changed to a king room. I also told them I specifically booked two 2 beds for a reason and they would not change my room and said that there was no other rooms with two queen beds available. Also, my room was not cleaned however, when I left the next day to go to my function, I came back with no towels in the room at all so someone went in my room and did not replace fresh towels."

"I've stayed here a few times but this time I got the suite and it was so clean,roomy,and beautiful. Staff was super friendly. Its close to shopping,food and gas which makes it even better."

"The front desk staff, both at check-in and check-out, were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and didn't smell of any smoke (even as some other non-smoking hotels do). The breakfast was fine. Nothing too spectacular, but good enough for free! I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"i had a balcony room that had an amazing water view. they have grills, gazebo, basketball court, playground, volleyball net.. plus so much more all in the back of the hotel that is also overlooking the water! they have a heated pool which is a plus! we barely heard any commotion, it was pretty quiet with how many guests we saw coming and going. great price and great location that is surrounded by stores and restaurants! will be staying again"
