"Very fast check in, great rooms, perfect tiki bar, karaoke night was perfect my kids had a blast, pools are parent and kid friendly, and beach was amazing! Would recommend. This is the only place I will go when I travel to Myrtle beach!!!"

"A hidden gem at Myrtle Beach! I had the most relaxing time at Dayton House. This is my 4th return visit. It is my absolute favorite hotel at Myrtle. From the stunning views, to the family atmosphere, the wonderful FREE hot breakfast, the friendly staff members, the clean property , the drinks by the pool, the DJ playing fun summer songs and much more- it can't be beat!!!!! Whether you have an oceanfront room or side view/street view no room will disappoint!! It's just a superb place to be! Hanging out on my balcony and people/car watching is so fun! I never want to leave!! Thank you Dayton House Resort for such a fantastic vacation!!!"

"The room we stayed in was not cleaned well. It was surface cleaned and could use a good deep cleaning of the carpets the floors in the kitchen area and bathroom and the wall. Exterior of the fridge, countertops and light fixtures (need dusted) all need a good deep cleaning. I know they have more updated rooms ours was not one of them. I was okay with the outdated rooms for the price being more affordable but at least clean the room well for the guest to feel comfortable. Staff was very friendly at the front desk and doors. Beach was beautiful. Pools amazing. Balcony with ocean view fantastic. Ocean Annies was always a great place at night. Great overall stay! I only put okay in the facility because it isn’t fancy for those seeking fancy and the room we had was not cleaned well."

"My children love this place. We have made two birthday trips to the crown reef for each of them. Because crown reef is where they want to go. We loved every minute of our trip. We had asked for a certain room that we had gotten the first time. It was on the 10th floor. We didn’t get the room we wanted, we got one on the 3rd floor. It was closer to the pool and the DJ, so there was more noise, but we adjusted and had a great time. From the lazy river to the banana boat ride it was so nice. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back because the kids will insist."
