"This was an amazing hotel to stay at. First time in Edinburgh, this hotel had great history and beautiful grounds. The staff on reception were very helpful especially Chloe who went out of her way to upgrade our rooms & chat to us too! Also really enjoyed the leisure facilities. Didn’t want to leave! Our beds were very comfy- I will be back! "

"Just an incredible time at the Norton House! Just an incredible comfortable bed with six pillows. Great breakfast, lunch dinner gourmet dinner available there on site and then to be able to walk the grounds and view the sheep go up by the woods and look down at the hotel. It was very nice. The spa facilities were top-notch. The receptionist were always available and friendly. I can’t say enough about the Norton."

"This little gem of a hotel is tucked into a quiet area just a few minutes walk from the train station. The staff was so kind and helpful. The food at the on site restaurant was amazing, the locals in the bar were friendly, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. There was a large parking lot and local trails for walking. We got our laundry done for a very reasonable price, left folded/hung in our room. Highly recommend! "

"Wonderful place. Easy check in, lovely staff. The only hiccup for us is that they would only let my husband get a pizza from the Brasserie restaurant to take back to the room to eat, we had been up for hours and were to exhausted to eat out. Very limited room service menu as well. Otherwise everything was grand. "

"Stayed one night, arriving fairly late and leaving very early. Checked in promptly at desk. Room and bathroom very clean and comfortable. Never heard a sound and was facing the airport and near the busy roundabout. Bed clean and comfortable, nice soft pillows which I prefer. Good shower. Well appointed room with sockets and tea/coffee. Really nothing to complain about at all although I had my own hairdryer so can’t comment on that. I didn’t have too much time to check out breakfast and was away...
