Room was cold and the heating/ac didn't work properly. TV was very basic, no apps (netflix, amazon, etc) no sky just freeview. No usb plugs.

Decent mid range hotel. Not where I’d take my wife for a romantic getaway, but suitable for a place to stay if you need a comfortable bolt hole in the area.

Very shaby
Arrived at the bentley hotel and parked no problem, checked in, went to the room and the keys didn't work so reception gave us new ones which worked, went into the room to find the bed only double but we booked a king size. Then find out that king is same as double here, felt abit mislead by the booking. Very basic room but the bed was comfy. Breakfast was nice, very helpful waitress. The spa area needs alot of work and tlc it's very old and dirty, the sauna was too hot and is tiny, the jacuzzi was broken and the pool freezing. I think it's way over priced compared to other four star hotels we have stayed in recently, the Leonardo for example is alot cheaper and you get alot more for your money. I wouldn't stay here again.

A did a job hotel
The room did a job and was comfy enough. Hotel technology was dated but functional (despite the noises the lift made!) Room service and meals were fine although side of chips for one meal felt like a quick microwave job rather than actually cooked, but the pizza alongside it was lovely. Staff friendly and nice. Biggest issue was the hotel pool and spa. It was advertised as open but two days before my booking i received a message to say the facilities were limited. I sent a message to the hotel asking for clarification on what this entailed and received no reply. When i arrived on site i asked at reception and was told the pool and sauna were working but the jacuzzi was out of action. This seemed ok but when i visited the pool it was clear work was still going on behind the scenes as well as in the jacuzzi with staff and contractors walking through to look at and review the work progress. This meant the pool side and changing facilities were covered in various marks and sign of the work going on. The last element was a sign as you exited the changing room to the pool which said due to work the pool temperature was lower than normal. In real terms this meant there was no heating in the pool or the pool area. Not a great swimming/spa experience :(

Look for another hotel.
I think this hotel is only surviving due to the Best Western name being associated with it. The outside looks very 80s and that is echoed on the inside. The rooms itself was comfortable enough although they seem to have a serious issue with the plumbing. The cold tap produced warm water for a period of time before stopping altogether. I tried to have a shower, but given the previous statement about the cold water running hot, the only water that come out of the shower was either scalding hot or just a dribble. I think my room was located near the gym as I had to listen to the thumping of someone running on a treadmill while trying to get to sleep. The room also overlooked the main road into Lincoln and as such, I was woken up several times in the night due to traffic noise. The food in the restaurant was also poor. I had a potato thing for starters and the potatoes were dry inside. The Chicken Korma I had for the main course, despite being the size of a child's portion, was one of the blandest and most tasteless meals I can remember. It is very rare that I ever find the need to add seasoning to a meal, but this "curry" required a number of applications of salt to add flavour. It's safe to say, that I would never stop in this hotel again.

We have currently undergone some refurbishment since your stay, especially in the Leisure Club and the Restaurant is about to change into a Mediterranean Restaurant. Also a new Boiler for the water heating. Next on the agenda is the Bedrooms. We do hope in the future you may decide to visit us again so we can hopefully give you a superior experience.

Staff friendly and helpful on arrival, room was clean, bathroom a little worn. Pillows hard (but that's just my preference) Disappointed pool was too cold to use and jacuzzi was not working. Food in the restaurant was very nice. Room and corridor doors could do with being fitted with soft close or something, individuals returning to their room between 12 and 1.30am. Hotel cant control guests being loud on the way back to their room but the bang of the doors made it impossible to sleep through.

I couldn't fault anything about my stay here.
Excellent customer service and friendly staff. I was informed the pool area was undergoing refurbishment but could still be used albeit a little cold.I had use of the gym and spa if required. The room was bigger than expected (bonus) very clean. The bathroom was spotless with plenty of towels and the shower was poweful and hot. I had the best nights sleep in a long time in the most comfortable bed. There was the option of using the restaurant or bar area for food if required or room service was available, all at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again.

Oh dear
Pool was cold, spa was broken, pool side hot bed broken, mens changing room dirty, lack of service personnel in restaurant. Overhearing staff talking to eachother about a new manager starting on tuesday, the restaurant tables wasnt dressed,. We went to the Bentley in june this year and it was 100%, last night it was more like 35%.

Our room was basic but clean and tidy. The swimming pool was freezing cold, the jacuzzi was out of bounds, the steam room was out of bounds and the mens changing and shower facilities were pitch black as no lights worked. The whole leisure facilities looked like they were empty & disused, not inviting and relaxing - didn’t make us want to be there for very long, less than 10 mins we were there!

The hotel is quite run down. The room we had hadn't been cleaned thick dust ontop of the woodwork and carpet edges the shower area was run down and dirty. The breakfast was nice and the staff was helpful

Not at all as expected from this hotel chain.
This particular room had a lot of dust on surfaces. Bathroom heated towel rail was quite rusty and the chrome surfaces didn’t look like they had ever had a good clean. Toilet seat was at an unusual side angel and moved when you sat on it. Bed base had a large visible stain. For the price I paid it really was unsatisfactory.

Tired and dirty.
I had stayed in this hotel about a year ago, which is why I chose it this time around. However I was disappointed on this occasion. In general the hotel looked tired. The toilet in my room had not been flushed by the last person who used it and clearly the bathroom had not been visited by a cleaner. The shower took about five minutes before hot water came through. The quilt had a two inch stain on it. The TV had very few choices of channels and in particular had no news or sports channels. The steam room in the spa was out of order. The sauna had no timer so it was impossible to know how long you had been in it. Overall I was disappointed with my stay. It was not good value for money. I would not be able to recommend it to anyone in its current condition.

The Bentley is convenient for where I want to be & the spa is a great draw but the condition of my room was not good. I found the hot water tap on the hand basin was very hard to open and extremely impossible close enough to stop it dripping. The net curtain on my window fell down when I opened my window. The pool which is my biggest draw, was closed on the last day of my stay. Last time I stayed there, some of the spa facilities boasted in their literature were closed for the whole of my stay.

The whole place needs a total revamp, not sure theyve even replaced the towels since the 90's! The dressing gown was like sandpaper, changing rooms near pool were filthy, and we opened the door to the sauna only to close it again, not a chance was i stepping foot in there, it looked like it had never been cleaned. Really shabby. Really outdated and absolutely not worth the money, what a shame.
