Great location in limerick

Parking ramp was a little hard to get in and out of with a big rental car, but stay was good. Location was awesome - near St. Johns castle, bars and restaurants. Nice size rooms - clean & comfortable

Very simple but comfortable hotel. Rooms could use some upgrading. Great location, friendly staff, and nice views of the river. Bar is closed because of COVID.

Good hotel

The breakfast and bar was closed due to Covid restrictions but parking on site was great to have! Wifi wasn't working but the room was clean.

Excellent hotel stay I will definitely be back

Absolutely delightful stay at the pier hotel and anything I asked was not too much trouble. Room was exceptionally clean and we'll equipped, staff were helpful friendly and polite and the location is ideally situated to access any area of limerick with excellent transport links to and from the airport as well as for getting around the area.

For a base yes. No for a longer more comfy stay.

For a place to stay it was ok. The street is quite busy so a bit noisy. The room was ok but the likes of the shower could do with a little bleach or mould killer round. The bathroom felt a little in need of tlc. But as somewhere to have a quick wash it was ok really. The bed was good. Pillows could have done with two with seperate cases rather than two crammed into one case as it left it really hard to sleep on. Iron, dryer etc all provided which was great. I did leave the sign on thw door for room to be services as had ran out of tea bags and bins qhere full. Unfortunately it didnt get done/wasnt noticed so in the end I went down and asked for more. All in all it was a comfortable stay for a business trip qhere I needed a base. But for a weekend away or longer atay I would go somewhere else.

Upset kids

We booked with hotel.com a dtunning room for the whole family as i was only adult and 4 kids we were so lookibg forward to it . The pier even confirmed we have a river view . Ehen we got there we were told they couldnt give us that room and gjve us 2 double rooms. Which means i had to leave one half of my kids in a room not even next door. But down the corridor. And with a view of looking into someone elses bedroom. Also my main issue was the kids door could be pushed in without a card. I didnt sleep a wink. It was the morlst horrible experience and ruined the end of our lovely holiday. Kids were so upset

It’s an ok hotel

It was ok the tv remote wasn’t really working but it didn’t really matter to me since I was on my phone have of the time and the hair dryer wasn’t there and I did get a message saying they won’t be a kettle in the room and there was one but it was broken and it was leaking but I didn’t need it in the end the bathrooms door didn’t closed well but least I wasn’t with someone but the staff is nice I might come back again sometime but not sure yet since I am from limerick itself

Very disappointing.

The room felt dirty and was very small and nothing like advertised. It felt very unfriendly. While parking was on side it was underneath and very difficult to park.

Pleasant stay

Extremely good location, staff were friendly & good covid restrictions in place (one way system in and out of hotel). Water was very hot, even on cold setting which was not great for the heatwave. Other than that, pleasant stay.

There was no fans available and was told only 6 for the whole hotel and the room was quite small and very claustrophobic.. The toilet was not properly bolted to the floor and wobbled when u sat on it.. The restaurant was closed and only bar food..

staff were friendly and obliging. one could go directly by lift to reception or one's floor. rooms were modern and inviting. unfortunately no satelite channels and reception reminded me of a ticket area of a bus or train station. perhaps this was for security reasons but it was a little off-putting.

Great location quite central.Shower wasn’t great, even on hottest setting only lukewarm, and water pressure not great. Some paint flaking from ceiling in the bathroom also. Even with this, still enjoyable experience

Good enough but....

No buzz as bar and restaurant were closed due to covid restrictions. Handy parking under hotel. Bathroom suitable for people with disabilities, however, a sign should be in place re emergency pull string as we both pulled it thinking it was to turn on the shower 😳 also big gap between curtains and wall so room very bright from sun-up. Other than that it was clean, central and comfortable.
