"Hotel Thaynes, Park City was quite below my expectations. The only positive element was that the room was super clean. However, if you are in the swimming pool area, road noise is terrible. Then a guy showed up with a chain saw cutting branches beyond the fence of the pool, which ruined the whole afternoon. TV didn't work, which is unacceptable for a hotel that promises high expectations. I had hard time to connect to the Wi-Fi, unless you provide Marriott Bonvoy detailed information about you,...

"The location was great! Nowhere on the listing did it mention that major exterior renovations were underway. Our mountain-view room was completely blocked by scaffolding, and we were on the fourth floor. There was also a $ 25-a-night parking fee that was unexpected. The room was dimly lit; combined with the natural light being blocked by the scaffolding, the room was very dark. Unfortunately, I can't cancel the room I booked in October without losing out on $155. I have never had a negative...

"I liked this room, though I had specifically booked room 302 with a hill view and first ended up in a room with a parking lot view. I did get switched to the correct room eventually but not sure why the property didn’t know what room I booked until I showed them. It mattered to me. Rooms 302 and 304 have south (hill views) and 302 also has a view east, though the dumpster on that side gets used noisily in the early morning or late at night. The courtyard outside seems to be a gathering place...
