"The friendliness, organization and attention to detail from the staff helped make our honeymoon so smooth. We spent more time at the hotel than we initially expected but so glad we had such a wonderful landing spot to spend our time at. Between the pools, restaurants, trail, yoga, and being 6 minutes from downtown, we had everything we needed right at our fingertips. We thought it would just be a place for us to sleep at night and ended up being a highlight of our experience. "

"We had a three day stay at Lumina Valley View Monteverde in April 2025. The house is very spacious, modern and comfortable. It has an amazing gourmet kitchen (love the waterfall style granite countertop!) and a great view with a lovely, vibrant orange sunset. Lovely furnishings and decor. Also ample hot water, AC and strong Wifi. Note that this location is a little far out so not walkable to any amenities. Our host Glenda, who is a native of Monteverde, was amazing. "This was truly a unique experience. I was sad our schedule only allowed us to stay one night, as I would loved to stay several days. Our room had a private pool, huge shower, and was surrounded by lush greenery. The breakfast buffet was good and the town was gorgeous. The staff was very helpful. We did the night hike and saw several tropical frogs, a snake and a sloth. I highly recommend a stay there!!"

"This place was amazing! The rum was clean but average. No air conditioning but with the window open, fan, and dehumidifier it was very tolerable. The amazing part. .the staff and wildlife! Everyone was very friendly and went above and beyond to assist. Every morning and afternoon the spider monkeys came by the patio. So many birds and other wildlife to see just walking the grounds. If you love seeing wildlife then this is the place for you! "
