"I got the impression that Yankee Inn has quite a history, although it has been recently updated and renovated. The staff were available and friendly. "This is my second time staying at this hotel, as I try to visit the Berkshires at least once a year. I absolutely love it and plan to stay here whenever I return.
The property is charming, with beautifully designed rooms and a cozy, inviting lobby. The rooms are stocked with Santal products, which is a nice touch. Upon check-in, guests are offered fresh water and tea, making you feel welcome right away.

"I spilled an ENTIRE cup of cocoa I was making for my niece. The clerk on was a very kind, friendly young man named Paul. I have worked as a chef for 30 years, the cocoa went EVERYWHERE. He got a mop bucket , I started cleaning my mess up I just know what its like to walk into a mess!! Left by someone else. Paul said "you dont have to finish, ill do it no problem. "The view was great. It is in 10 to 30 minutes of places I wanted to visit. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me with the personal items I needed. I didn't need to use the Kayaks or pontoon that they rent to use on Lake Laural.
The only drawback is no beach."
