"Clean and comfortable room and a beautiful location right on the river. I love that it felt homey with various sitting areas, books to read in the lobby, and even a couple of pianos for guests to play. We were there for a track meet and having the river walking/jogging/bike path right outside the door was fantastic for getting in workouts without having to run in the street. The reason I took off a star had to do with staff communication. When I called to make the reservation, we were told...

"The room was advertised: 2 queen beds and a couch/bed, which served our needs. The property is fine but starting to show its age. The breakfast, while standard fare in American roadside motels, was basic and not terribly nutritious: processed food and no fresh fruit or vegetables. There are a cluster of hotels in this off-ramp retail area which might be more attractive."
