The host was welcoming & friendly and very informative, helping us with suggestions of restaurants and sites to see as well as some history on her home which has been in her family for 18 generations. "We very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very friendly and were such a pleasure to visit with. The grounds are very well kept and the home absolutely beautiful The breakfast was amazing as well (loved the fresh figs) as was the room. Great spot!"

"Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise."
