Pleasant stay in this modern and immaculately clean hotel with friendl staff. Room was spacious and comfortable, very modern and clean, equipped with a coffee/hot water machine. Opening window which was good as the room became too warm once the sun came out later in the week, and lowest setting of aircon was only 18C. Interior courtyard nice for sitting out in. Location is good, walkable to many sights, about a 10-15 minutes walk from Gare Sud where the airport shuttle lets off. There is a Carrefour supermarket about 5 mins walk away, and a Bio-coop healthfood store diagonally down the road which stocks some gluten free and veggie products. For the tram, you need to walk up to the stop near the chateau. Fairly quiet area.

Excellent hotel

Excellent hotel with really helpful and friendly staff. The room was well designed so it felt quite spacious. It was very clean, seemed newly renovated, very comfortable bed, great shower and good wifi. Parking is a massive bonus.

The property was amazing, fantastic room with facilities, but nothing beats the absolutely amazing service from all the staff. I have never stayed at a hotel where they were like my friends, recognized us, made sure we didn’t go without and just genuine nice people. I really enjoyed my one night stay at Hotel de la Cité. The hotel was easy to find and well situated with transport links nearby. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional.
