Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The view around this property is amazing. It’s an authentic mountain motel type feel. All was clean and comfortable. Walkable to things in town and some fun amenities available at the hotel. We’d definitely stay again."
"The rooms are very small. Book at least two queen beds. There is NO CELL SERVICE if you are a T-Mobile customer at Canyon Lodge or anywhere inside Yellowstone Park. WiFi was iffy in the room ONLY. It didn’t work two of the 5 days we were there. When traveling with a group of people and they put everyone in separate buildings it was frustrating to communicate with each other. Calling each other’s rooms didn’t work either. The Eatery is very expensive. The Fountain/Grill is also expensive. CREDIT CARD ONLY throughout the entire park. NO CASH ACCEPTED. Other cell service Verizon was sporty."
"The room was clean, the staff were polite, but there were 2 things that I feel need to improve: have a microwave and the hot water system.
We spent there 2 nights, and the first morning we got up a little later, so when we decided to take a shower it was almost 10 am; the first person had barely warm water, but the other two did not. I called the front desk to let them know, they sent a very nice staff member, and she let me know that I needed to try to take a shower way before 10 am because at 10:00 the hotel stars doing laundry, and their laundry system and rooms shared the same water heaters, so their laundry equipment uses most of the hot water. I truly feel that there is NOT any reasonable excuse not to have hot water! We paid to have a comfortable and clean space to spend 2 nights and that includes having hot water and taking a shower at the time that is convenient for us. Everything else was fine."
"Even though there was no frig, microwave or TV, your so close to Yellowstone gate. They have a wonderful restaurant and bar. Wifi only in lodge. We stayed 3 nights and staff was very helpful and curtious. I would highly recommend."
"The smell in the hotel was awful. Made my eyes water, I will make it a point to let people know not to stay here.
The roof had a small leak in the corner of our room. Caused the chair in the room to get a little damp on the corner.
It was a bit run down."
