"We circumnavigated Sicily in 10 days and stayed in 6 different towns. Siracusa was our last sightseeing stop. We chose to stay in Floridia to give easy access to the Catania airport for an early flight. Of all our lodging spots, B&B Mediterraneo was the least prepared for our arrival and provided the lowest level of service. It is actually a suite of rooms on the 3rd floor of an apartment building. "Beautiful location and stunning building, only ourselves and the owners there on our two night stay. Lovely staff. Friendly owners. Unfortunately the room was pretty tired and bathroom needed a good overall. Old marked shower enclosure. Crumbling walls round the shower unit. Shower coming away from wall and mould round taps. Also a ton of ants in and around bathroom. Tissue box full of them. Breakfast which was included was poor. Very old looking tomato and cucumber slices and tbh v little...
