"Very comfortable and enjoyable stay at the White Lion. Perfect location opposite the beach and easy free parking. Lovely old traditional hotel with excellent breakfast and clean comfortable bedroom and bathroom."

"Good bar staff, nice food, OK breakfast if you're OK with a buffet style cooked breakfast where things are kept lukewarm on a tray (doesn't work with fried eggs). Little jugs four milk for the table to put into coffee or tea would be a good idea, save having to get up and get the milk from the buffet every time you top up. Very nice room, nice shower. Excellent friendly service at reception very helpful - thanks! Dog friendly (and not a stupid charge either)!"
