"We were there for 5 days. It was impeccable. The location, service, ambiance everything was perfect! All small attentions that makes you feel comfortable. We took the water taxi from (and to) the airport directly to the hotel fastest way to get there. Easy to walk around and along the waterfront. Breakfast was excellent"

"Excellent hotel in the heart of Downtown Boston. Great location, lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Room was perfect with large shower and extremely comfortable beds. We came back to our room at about midnight and discovered the sockets were not working so we couldn't charge our phones etc. One quick call to reception and they were fixed within about 2 or 3 minutes."

"We booked a room for two adults and a 15 year old - clearly 3 beds. We were given a room with a double bed only - obviously wrong. It took Herculean efforts to get this changed and even when we did, we had to wait to transfer cases to the new room and the bed was still not made up at 10pm that night. Mistakes can happen, I get that however it’s how you respond to mistakes that matters. This took too long to resolve."

"This is a superb hotel. Great gym and extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Really comfy bedding and amazing shower. One note to travelers- if you use the expensive ($68) valet parking then you need to call for your car far in advance. Last night it took 45 minutes from texting, this morning it took a half hour to get the car. The guys who work the valet are very nice and try hard, but the valet garage is far away. This $68 was not well spent - it caused annoyance and made us late for...

"Home was immaculate and modern with great views of park & Mass State house. Finishing are very high end and host was super responsive. Only reason not to give a perfect score was some of questionable characters across the street at the square and nearby train station. Never felt unsafe, but hope the city can clear the area for this prized location and highly upgraded penthouse. Peter is great."

"The shining star of The Eliot is the staff; they were attentive, kind and authentically present and helpful. In letting them know we were celebrating a milestone anniversary, they upgraded our standard room to suite; the suite was beautifully and elegantly designed, bringing with it a classic old world charm. The location itself has a wonderful restaurant if you’re looking to stay close and otherwise, is a few minute walk from the well renowned Newbury Street with countless shops and eateries....

"Self service check in, impersonal. Not my preference, but ok if you don’t mind technology. Don’t expect a valet or concierge. The rooms also require the use of an iPad which controls the lights, blinds,tv, air as well as asking for your room to be made up( they do t do it if you don’t ask). The rooms are tiny, like cruise ship tiny. The staff at the bar was friendly and willing to answer any questions. Location is great if you’re going to Fenway or love to shop."
