"Staff was honest. Hotel was a mess. Remodel? Was in progress. We traveled from states away and hoped to feel at home and relaxed but it was a mess. Bummed the pool was gross with windows being replaced and construction was in process. For the amount of money we booked for this hotel, I was not impressed! The front desk staff attendant was professional and honest — however the room had a leaky toilet and the pool construction was huge bummer. Charlevoix was beautiful though. Probably the worst...

"Very comfortable 1 night stay. Large room with a clean bathroom and plenty of towels. The breakfast room was clean and tidy with a reasonable choice of options. Staff were friendly and helpful and the laundry machines in good working order."

"Room was nice beds were pretty comfortable. We had a view of the parking lot so that wasn’t great but could also see golf course a bit too. Checkin and checkout were very easy and quick. Overall good service. The hot tub wasn’t working properly though and wasn’t very clean, pool was ok. For the price we expected a bit better honestly. Would stay here again but at that price we have stayed at other hotels in the area that we would likely pick over this one and closer to Traverse city downtown."

"The staff is very rude. The whole Hotel smells like there’s a gas leak. When you use the pool and sit in there to watch your eye BURN!!! I felt like I was swimming for hours sitting there for not even 5 minutes. Stayed there for 3 nights and they never came in to clean or replenish bath towels. I would never ever stay there again or recommend it either. Their sign out front says we love our guest. Truly that is a complete lie and far from the truth. They are unprofessional and awful towards...

"Our stay was great. Everything was comfortable and for the most part clean… but our bathroom wreaked of urine as soon as we got in to the room and the smell never left. When I looked around the toilet, there was pee all over, I think the seal is bad on the toilet. I ended up spraying around the bottom with hand sanitizer and lining it with towels. It still smelled terrible. Other than that, great hotel! Easy check-in and out. No other complaints."
