Beautiful character property and garden area stunning. The host is a real true gentleman hes very kind and very friendly and approachable . Nothing is too much for him at all.we have stayed before and we will definitely be back again soon. We feel so at ease and relaxed and peaceful n safe . Very very convenient for everything you could want in a beautiful town like Leek . Perfect really honestly its beautiful n its very very reasonably priced. Love the quirkiness of the building n i love the area too. Best wishes Craig and Claire xxxxxxx

Lovely Independent Hotel with Exceptional Service
Stayed there for valentines, Nick upgraded us to a better room as we were a couple which was lovely. I had a tyre blowout the next morning and he couldn’t do enough to help. Sourced me another tyre and got us going again. What a gent - would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Nick was extremely helpful and made sure that everything was just right for us to enjoy our weekend stop-over in Leek. The Silk House is very well situated for all that Leek has to offer in terms of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. A perfect weekend and we will definitely stay again when we’re next in the area.

The place was very clean and suprisingly quiet, considering it was right in the centre of town a really nice hotel for the price.

We expected a lot more for the price...a few tins of paint would be a start,our bathroom as nice as it was smelled damp and mouldy Generally the inside of the hotel could do with some tlc Looked lovely from the outside but the inside is terrible....Premier Inn next time

Great hotel in the centre of Leek. It had everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble. A very friendly atmosphere and the breakfast was amazing. We will definitely stay again.

Excellent, friendly and intimate place to stay
We had a great stay. Nick was extremely helpful and friendly, understanding when we overslept and had a late breakfast. There is a real family feel to the place

Was able to Check in at 12. Booked 3 rooms. Rooms had everything we needed with updated bathrooms. Lots of character within the building. Continental breakfast was good and managers were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Was a pleasure to meet them and stay at this hotel.

A very lovely old town house in the centre of Leek. We had a quiet, comfortable room and were made to feel very at home by the manager/owner. Only one night, but would definitely stay again if we are over that way.

Great place to stay.
Although the kitchen wasn't open due to lockdown the owner was very helpful and provided a place setting for me in the empty Restaurant. I enjoyed my sray and the hotel iscright in the centre of town with plenty to do and see all around.
