"A beautiful farmhouse shaped like a fortress just outside of Calitri. The host is very accommodating and helped me make some reservations despite not speaking English/my Italian being no good. Waking up to the birds was a treat, the bed was cozy and the shower worked well. It would be fun to have a bunch of friends stay there for a week. Definitely requires a car, I thought maybe one could walk in and out of Calitri but it's an enormous vertical distance, it would take hours."

"This hotel is no where close to a 4 star property! No kettle in the room for tea, when I asked the reception they said I can order tea from room service. Upon check in I asked the receptionist if breakfast was included in our stay and she said yes, during checkout we were told it wasn’t and that we had to pay extra for it. After checking in, we went to our room which was filled with flies, even few dead on the floor. I asked the receptionist if this could be sorted and they sent room cleaning with a fly killing spray. I would never recommend this place."

"Amazing stay! We were welcomed by the super friendly hosts To a beautifully renovated 2 floor apartment. They had prepared the apartment with lots of snacks and breakfast items , coffees, drinks, yogurts and plenty of drinks Clean beautiful linens Comfy beds Travel amenities including soaps, toothbrushes, hotel slippers and more including Rooms each equipped with their own air conditioning And all this with beautiful terraces and incredible views The entire city is a hidden gem and this unit surpasses all expectations Will definitely be back Thank you Felice and the family Xx"

"Excellent hotel in the heart of Rionero in Vulture. Quiet and clean, with a super attentive owner who prepared us a lovely breakfast of homemade cakes and pastries 😋 with plenty of juices and coffee to go. Extra bonus, there is an excellent restaurant next door with superb food made on order - it takes a little longer than average to be served but it:s well worth the wait!!!!"

"Hotel has probably seen it’s day. Photo of outdoor pool shown on Expedias website was the draw to stay there. Pool is closed! FALSE ADVERTISING! General staff was very helpful and tried hard to help the guests but we were shocked to wake up to a woman screaming at the top of her lungs berating some poor fellow. Turned out she was someone important in the hotel chain of command, she was sitting in a nice office. Not used to this kind of abuse at full volume and in earshot of everyone who was in the lobby. I heard it from our second floor room! Very reminiscent of the old British sitcom “Fawlty Towers”. Take a pass on this place it’s in the middle of nowhere as well."
