"I love that there is on site hot springs for guest to use. The location of the Lava Hotel is very convenient! Probably my favorite place to stay in Lava. "

"Heater was great, tub drained slowly, but reported to property who were eager to repair. Wifi was far away and low signal and not effective for my switch console or phone. Staff was very friendly and the proximity to the hotsprings was unbeatable. Overall great stay for a quick one-night trip! "

"Second time staying at the Hillside. Love it here!! Spacious room with small couch, TV...comfortable, clean beds. Large shower, shampoo conditioner and body wash included & clean fluffy towels. Games under the beds for entertainment, patio with tables and chairs to lounge with partial view of the town. My only suggestion is if you drink coffee, bring your own sugar and cream. We'll book here every time!! You won't regret staying here!"

"The front desk lady (I think she might have been the owner) went above and beyond. I accidently booked the wrong night and showed up a day early. She kindly changed the reservation and gave us a room for the current night rather than the next night which I'd booked.
