"It was an inexpensive and convenient location and the room we had was quite large and had a sleeper sofa, and the staff was friendly. But cleanliness was not good. Im not a picky person in general but there were noticeable stains on the bedding and towels and a layer of dust and grime on pretty much everything else that most hotels we've been to at least make an attempt to clean up. The beds had very little actual bedding. No comforters to be found basically just a paper thin sheet and decorative topper and we were cold most of the night. There was no hot food at the breakfast mostly just bagels and some very basic cereal, instant coffee, etc. Basically just very obviously run down hotel. It was acceptable for something cheap for the one night we were there, but wouldn't stay here again."

"This was our second time staying here within 9 months. The bed in the room we had this time was very, very firm. It was like sleeping on the floor. We woke up very sore in the morning. That is my only complaint. The room is spacious and I love the little kitchen area. The breakfast was great. The hotel was quiet. It’s very conveniently located around restaurants and stores of all kinds. "

"Manager lied about ability to shorten stay, claiming it was due to me booking thru a 3rd party app then turns around and denies the refund request when my third party provider requested it. Blatant dishonesty is a detriment to the good service this business wishes to provide. Additionally, please train the reception desk staff how to speak to people. I’m not sure if it’s a racial thing but I don’t appreciate being spoken to as if I’m from a different planet, nor do I speak incoherent or unintelligible english. I speak very clearly to asking me to repeat myself multiple times encroaches on micro aggression territory. Not trying to nitpick here, I’m a chill and easy going person but my last stay here turned me off THOROUGHLY, which is a big shame because aesthetically this was my favorite hotel in the Troy area. I would really like to be treated as any other patron… if I ever come back here that is. "

I have been trying to deal with properly regarding this and they hsve been rude, hung up the phone and give me the run around. I want to make people aware before you spend your money on this hotel"
