"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."

"The rooms was spotless, its a very old building but modern and decorated beautifully, the bathroom was so clean and the shower was nice and powerful. "Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The size of the room was great for the price compared to other accommodations in the city. We enjoyed having the kitchen space to store snacks and make tea. We were disappointed to not have full washer and dryer in the unit as expected. The laundry room was only available during the times we were out exploring the city. There was some staining on the sofa we assumed/ hoped just from wet garments or bags being placed on the light colored upholstery....

"I highly recommend this spacious property in a prime location. Easy access to train station in under 5 minutes and just a 10-15 minute walk to most sights, including the castle. The property was very well equipped. The only small critique we had was that the bed was only a queen size rather than a king, in US standards, but it worked out fine. There’s also a great restaurant just outside the lower level called The Doric."
