Tosi hyvä kokemus, olin ensin 2 viikkoa, jatkiin sitten vielä viikolla ja vielä yhdellä 😀 Aallon kohina on ihana ja siihen nukahtaa välittömästi kun ikkunat on öisin raollaan. Vapaaehtoiset pyörittävät hostelia ja saattavat olla ensimmäistä kertaa saarella, joten paikallisilta saa infoa esim ravintoloissa, jos jotakin tarvitsee tietää.

Chinches/ bedbugs

Llegamos a HiTide por nuestra reserva vacacional el día 28 de junio, la cual ya estaba pagada de forma online, y nos quisieron volver a cobrar porque no tenían ningún tipo de organización ni de conocimiento de dicha reserva. La chica de recepción no hablaba español, y con cada problema nos dejaba a la espera para preguntar al manager, Max, el cual no nos facilitó su número. Ya de inicio nos pareció que había falta de limpieza, nos dieron una habitación diferente a la que habíamos reservado. A la noche, cuando nos disponíamos a dormir, nos empezó a picar todo, encendimos la luz y teníamos una plaga de bichos (creemos que chinches) en el cabecero de la cama. Eran cerca de las 2am, nos facilitaron otra habitación en la planta de abajo y también tenía los mismos bichos. Terminamos “no durmiendo” en medio de un pasillo hasta la hora de poder ir a lavar la ropa, perdiendo así nuestra excursión planificada de vacaciones.

AGRADABLE Y CERCA DE LA PLAYA

Fue muy buena la experiencia de hospedarme en este albergue, por el ambiente, gente muy amable, instalaciones muy limpias y lo mejor de todo muy silencioso. Esta enfrente de la playa y tiene una terraza fantástica!

Great hostel!

We spent one night at HiTide,but could have spent there even more time,like a week or two. For a hostel,HiTide is really worth the money. It's new,clean, room was nice, the look of the hostel is fresh and has a lot of nice little details. Hostel was really clean and tidy,which is really important to me. The location is good,especially for those who want to be close to the beach. You just have to walk out of the door and you are in the beach. It's also easy to get to other places in Las Palmas,either by bus or by foot. For example,biggest shopping center,Las Arenas is really close,as El corte Ingles too. And there's a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. We found HiTide as a really good hostel,it is really forth the money. And the staff was also really nice and helpful. One small minus was that the internet didn't work at our room (downstairs),in upper floors it worked fine. But if you are going to Las Palmas,and want to go to a hostel,just go to HiTide,you will love it! :)

Great hostel in ideal location

Great hostel in ideal location in Las Palmas, (and a "vista" to match it, simply a gourgeous view from balcony). If travelling on a budget to Las Palmas this is the place to stay.
