"The lodge was fabulous. It’s definitely more secluded but that’s exactly what I as hoping for. The weather came through for us and we had stunning views of the volcano out our window/patio area. I enjoyed walking the trails and birdwatching. We found about 40 different species with a guide in 2 hours. The rooms were comfy and clean. "Hard to get to but it was worth it. Best view ever of Arenal volcano. Beautiful surroundings. Ten minutes from the hanging bridges. They send you to a gorgeous view restaurant for breakfast. Air conditioning was great. Comfortable bed with view of Arenal. They even have a jacuzzi hot tub in the room. Private patio with bistro to have a glass of wine while enjoying the mountain and gorgeous surroundings. Price was under $100. Coffee in room. Fridge, microwave and kitchen to cook if need be. "We had a quick stay here but the check in process was very easy and incredibly helpful. The staff at the front desk really accommodated us and helped us out a lot. We did a tour and needed to stay a bit longer past check out and they were very welcoming with that. The rooms were very comfortable. The restaurant is down the hill (which is a 30 second drive) but that was fine with us. They mentioned there was a shuttle that goes back and forth as well that we could take. "
