"My parents and I rented the cottage for four nights. This was absolutely perfect for our needs and we slept really well. We were able to park our rental car with no problem and the area is loaded with things to see, and do. Restaurants nearby, as well as shopping in town. Many of our stops were 3 to 7 minutes away from the property. This is a much better location than staying up by Volcano. Under 10 minutes to the airport but noise wasn't an issue. "No frills bed and breakfast. This is the type of place that you book for serenity and for the quiet atmosphere which was perfect for our trip. It is worth noting that you need to make arrangements to get your access code ahead of time if you think you will have delays in your travel. However this process was easy to do. The property is close to volcano national park and also has an enjoyable rainforest environment as well. "

"Great B&B! Owner had prompt communication and provided several helpful tips. Loved having an our own private Hale which was outfitted with all the essentials including comfortable King bed. Kitchenette had mini-fridge with freezer. toaster-oven & microwave, coffee & tea in the room plus custom ordered breakfast (egg sandwich, omelette, or waffles) that came with a delicious papaya fruit bowl delivered to the room.
